What Our Readers Are Saying

... a very easy read, that in parts took me back to my own teenage years! I could relate to the era, the emotional turmoils, relationships, stresses and the importance of our friends during the awkward years of growing up! If I’m honest I did squirm a bit thinking about what a 14 year old Eve got up to, but I suppose as a 51 year old woman. I loved the characters, could have cried for baby Eve, punched her evil mother and shook her father!

I loved the characters, could have cried for baby Eve, punched her evil mother and shook her father! Loved her grandparents and Aunt Phyllis, and best friend and protector Donna, we all need a Donna in our lives! The story flowed perfectly. Readers of a certain age will enjoy the 80’s references and the youngsters will relate to teenage Eve. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable read, congratulations on a captivating, empathic story. Helen J
